Prep Cook: Food & Nutrition (Patients)

Prepares ingredients and components to be used for meal preparation.

Detailed responsibilities:
• Performs washing, cutting, chopping, and measuring of ingredients.
• Utilizes a wide range of kitchen tools, equipment, and utensils.
• Performs tasks as requested by the Executive Chef, including mixing spices, making basic sauces and dressings, packaging and storing leftover food, and testing foods.
• Adheres to all HACCP guidelines regarding the requisition, storage, handling and preparation of food as well as in the sanitation and maintenance of work area.
