Gift Shop Business Manager: Retail Services Administration


Manages daily operation of warehouse and assist with management of gift shops

Detailed responsibilities:
• Determines specific standard and non-standard items to be stocked and orders items from selected distributors. Supervises the receipt, storage, and inventory of all merchandise. Establishes and supervises stock control procedures.
• Assists with preparing and monitoring the Gift Shop budget. Monitors the selection of vendors and vendor contract performance.
• Assist with managing staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, and payroll.
• Assesses quality of services and goods provided to evaluate opportunities for promoting sales and marketing.
