Manager Clinical Program-Transplantation Administration, FT-Days, MRH


* Assists with promoting the goals of the program by qualifying all care issues and system issues regarding program development and the optimization of patient care.

1. Participates in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating the program.

2. Responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and monitoring quality improvement (QI) issues.

3. Develops and implements a comprehensive patient education/orientation program and participates in any research activities.

4. Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.

5. Monitors departmental budgets and regulatory compliance. Determines and justifies need for systems/equipment/supplies/purchases; monitors usage and oversees proper working order and/or stock.

6. Assesses the quality of patient care delivered. Evaluates needs of patients/families and provides patient-/family centered care. Manages complaints and conflicts through to resolution.

Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
